Hilarious-Memes-of-Prigozhin-Faux-Coup-In-Russia-20.jpg

On June 23, inner turmoil started to brew between the “Wagner” mercenaries and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. After the PMC’s owner Yevgeny Prigozhin announced his intentions to “deal with” the Russian military high command, he led around 50,000 of his mercenaries from Rostov to Moscow, threatening the whole world with fun time, but eventually turned the columns back before reaching the Russian capital.

That Saturday was the day when Ukraine almost ran out of popcorn. You rarely get to see a Civil War in Russia, especially when they’re trying to destroy your nation. But, sadly, Prigozhin’s enthusiasm was only enough for one day of causing chaos. Shortly after Putin had fled to another city and started calling his degenerate friends for help, Prigozhin’s fate was sealed. In the end, his little adventure was more than nothing, but less than we were promised. A real “faux coup” to everyone involved.

So immediately after Prigozhin announced his intention to take Moscow, the memes started flooding the Internet.

It’s always good to learn from other people’s mistakes.

Hey, you can’t get angry at a prank. That’s illegal!

What was the point of their quest?

In case you missed it, Prigozhin committed blatant treason but was shortly pardoned and sent to Belarus. At least officially.

Give him another sign, Mr. Budanov!

Russian apologists in shambles again? No way!

Let that sink in.

Just ruskies killing ruskies over their leaders’ silly squabble, and we got to witness at least some of it.

 Say less, dear. I do!

Next is probably the nuclear power plant expert month.

Imagine saying this two years ago.

It was a brief drought, but we’ll remember the memes.

That right there should have been Kremlin but alas. Maybe next time.
